Blue Shock Shaft Guards RPM Shock Shaft Guards are a simple design, replacing your stock shock spring cup with one that has a thin but tough shield rising up to the base of the shock body, completely blocking debris from striking the shock shaft. The back and sides are open, which prevents debris from building inside the guard Black Shock Shaft Guards as well. The kit comes with replacement oversized shock rod ends, improving durability and consistency on the shock pivot ball. Additionally, we redesigned the top of the rod end so it is square. That square end keys the shock shaft guard for directional control. The front shield of the guard covers over 100 degrees of frontal exposure! RPM Shock Shaft Guards Dyeable White Shock Shaft Guards are zero friction protection devices, meaning the guard never touches the working elements of the shock.

RPM Shock Shaft Guards are sold in sets of four, including four rod ends for the shocks and are stock replacement items. Nothing more is needed for installation. “Immediately after releasing our Adjustable Body Mounts for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 (#73932), RPM customers with the 2wd version of the Slash wanted adjustable, more durable body posts too. RPM Adjustable Body posts for the Traxxas Slash 2wd are here and are designed for durability and strength while still allowing you to change the body height on the truck.

Our unique body post mounting system allows the option of using the stock body height on the chassis. The body can also be lowered as much as 3/16” or raised as much as 3/8” simply by moving the posts up or down on the mounts.”

This simple, yet clever design is strong enough to handle the toughest of conditions while still allowing enough flex to absorb impacts that could otherwise damage other more fragile internal components of the chassis. Everything about our body mounts and posts are beefier than stock – from the thicker than stock screw mounts to the twin screws holding the body posts on to the mounts. We also use an I-beam shape throughout each mount, which provides the strength these parts need for those less than perfect landings.

Tech Notes: These body mounts and posts are fully height adjustable on the Traxxas Slash. For vehicles listed above other than the Slash 2wd, each part number may be used although adjustability may be limited based on the vehicle used.
