Arrow Trackside's New Offroad Track

Just to inform everyone, the meeting that was held last week had one main point that fellow Short Course racers should know.........the Offroad track is moving to the big room!!!!!

Deconstruction of the onroad track begins on Monday.

I'll get some pics as they come along....

Will the offroad track in the back room, still be up and running/racing during this make-over period???

I'm planning on racing up there next week Friday 6/18/10 and wanted to make sure there was still racing going on, since I have about an hour drive, depending on traffic.

I'll check for sure, but you should be good for next week.

There's a lot of guys that are understanding why this decision was made.

To SnwChris, the current clay track will be open and running all summer long while the new bigger dirt track is completed. Once the new track is complete the clay track will be turned into a clay oval track.

Won't be meeting me any time soon unfortunately. I bought a new set of wheels and tires just for tracksides clay track but just sold them tonight. I won't be racing anytime soon thanks to several factors. Good luck racing there, I had a blast last week friday, wish I could keep going back.

I heard and I know what people think when they hear that phrase, sue me.... but I heard the new track will be a mixture of dirt and clay so it'll be looser then the clay ever was.

Actually no one has raced on the rug since early May....so they can't be that upset......the writing has been on the wall for a while now.

Don't rush it man! lol I'm really looking forward to racing at the last Summer Sizzler carpet race ever to be held this Sunday. If I land this job next week I'll be able to race a lot more up there.

Here's a suggestion:

Maybe Scotty can have races on Saturday nights when the new bigger SC track is done???? That would ROCK!!! Especially for those who might be stuck working 2nd shift and only has Sat/Sun available to race.

I'm not sure how much interest there would be for Saturday but it could take off. Racing starts at 3pm. If I can get some time tomorrow while im up there for the Summer Sizzler I'll ask him personally.

Well snapped a few tonight.....

CRV versus carpet track, advantage CRV.

Group effort at the last few pieces of carpet.

Lots of people showed up today and tonight there is a bare floor.

Now the real work begins......

For the Friday night races... I'll be there this coming Friday and was wondering for the 4WD CORR class, is there only one class 4WD MOD CORR or is there 4wd stock corr???

I plan on running 4wd Mod Corr, but want to make sure your rules are the same as most places... any motor and any sct tire???
