Default Rustler to Slash Conversion.

Hay guys. Im looking into converting a rustler into a slash for my son. He really got stuck on them after i had bought a stampede for him.

My questions are. How much longer is the slash chassis compaired to the Rustler?. Iv looked at the STRC LCG kit and was thinking I could make one myself.

Also Iv gotten a good offer for a HPI Blitz Body, How much differant is the HPI compared to the slash body? is the WB about the same? wider? narrower?

LMK Thanks in advance.

Blitz is slightly shorter than the Slash. Slash wheel base is 335mm. Since you haven't done this before, you probably want to just buy the STRC kit, or maybe get just the carbon top plate from STRC and mock up the remaining parts from that.

If you get the strc kit the blitz body will prolly work well on it since with the strc conversion is like 10 mm shorter than stock slash

don't know about the bltz body, but the proline desert rat 2.0 for the sc8 works well for an strc conversion. In fact since the strc conversion is about 10mm shorter than a factory slash it fits better than the slash body.
