Default 1/16 e-revo gearing for bumpy offroad course?

soo, i gotta mini e-revo n would like to see wat kinda good suggestions i could get as to wat pinion spur gears would be good for a fairly bumpy offroad short course track... its a track in my woods but pretty clean for the most part. im also only running a single nihm pack.

I can't really speak to the MERV so much but I do have a KB that I have set up to really dirt some. I drive it quite a bit at a 10th scale track. I have found that the gearing may not be so important as the shock setup, and ride height. I can only suggest going with a quicker gearing as bumps throwing the truck around will demand more response and less top end.
