![]() Looking to see what everyone is using these days! As tool boxes or tackle boxes or something custom. I know this topic has been discussed before, but it's old and everything is outdated and half of the pics don't even work. So please guys, im looking for some new ideas. Please post pics with model and brand as well.! Last edited by Socal399; 02-15-2012 at 04:19 PM. Reason: edit the title or thread

![]() Plano 737 is the best I've found. It's big, has normal drawers instead of organizer boxes for the main compartments.

![]() Ive been using a $10 collapsible duffel from WalMart. When it starts getting crappy, i just buy another one. I was at Lowe's last night and saw this: Stanley 4-in-1 The bottom compartments seems like it will hold a SCT on its side quite nicely. The upper compartments had lots of storage available. And, when its locked in the tower, it will fit in the trunk of my car nicely . Last edited by Ruger357; 02-21-2012 at 05:13 AM.

![]() I recently picked up a few of these for $20 each @ WalMart: Amazon.com: 92 Quart Camp Footlocker (Single) by Sterilite: Home & Kitchen I WalMart also sells them in pairs for ~$35: Walmart.com: Sterilite 92-Qt Footlocker, Set of 2: Storage & Organization Nothing fancy about them but they allow me to tote a tremendous amount of race gear to/from the track. They're big, stackable, and for the money they're the cheapest portable storage I could find.

![]() I don't think so, I will check tonight. It may laying it on the side, but that isn't cool. I mainly got it to hold the tool bag in the bottom and lots of other stuff I may need when I race. Holds all my tires, radio, and extras.

![]() What would be the issue with laying your sc on its side? I better than on the tires for long term storage

![]() Well, I guess no issue. Anyways took pics last night for anyone (sorry ended up being blurry). The truck does not fit in the bottom, to long. The bottom area is where I keep the soft tool box at. Plenty of room down there. Last edited by lv4wiln; 03-02-2012 at 10:07 AM.

![]() I just picked up one of these today. Stanley 018800R Mobile Work Center: Amazon.com: Home Improvement I got it for $20 at the local wally world and picked up some plano organizers. I plan on putting a battery in the bottom to run my charger and maybe install a couple of speakers in it so I can run my ipod. I plan on putting velcro straps on the removable shelf so I can stap my lipos to it. Debating on where to mount the charger(either on the underside of the lid or in the bottom of the upper box).

![]() I use one of these in black, it's pretty awesome and large bottom area holds 2 sets of tires, radio, charger and other large goodies. Trays slide out and dividers are fully adjustable. http://www.amazon.com/Pelican-1460EM...5&sr=8-2-fkmr1
