![]() You'll prob have them before I do! You'd think I live in the middle of the ocean someplace instead of outside of Chicago.

![]() I got my Panther Orange foams today. They are a little firmer than the AKA Reds but nowhere near as firm as the AKA Black. If you look at them side by side with an AKA Red the AKAs have slightly wider slots on the inside which would account for the softer feel. I mounted them up in a set of Raptors. They gave the tire a squarer profile. Compared to the Panther foams the AKAs look to overfill the middle of the tires. The AKA foamed tire was about 1/16th inch taller at the center of the tread compared to the Panther. I'll glue them up and try them out this Sunday. I'll report back here on Monday.

![]() Awesome news Chris! Mine showed up today too. Mounting up some SS Switches. The track starts off damp and usually ends real dry/dusty.

![]() I got the tires glued up and put them on my SC-R. The tires with the Panther foams look like they have about 80% of the tread in contact with my table. With the black AKA foams it was more like 60%. I can't wait to get these on the track tomorrow. ![]()

![]() I tried the new Panther foams on my 2wd SC-R this weekend. The truck was hooked up. I set a personal best fast time in the first heat and again in the main, dropping almost another second. With all of this traction I'm finding that I could use more motor now. I'm running an Orion 9.5, but I think I will try an 8.5 if I can find one before the next race.

![]() I have tried Switches, Raptors and Rattlers SC-tires on this track: Euro Offroad Series - 4wd SCT A-main Leg 1 - YouTube All supersofts with black aka foams, on a Losi scte. Switches - felt phenomenal. Hooked right up. Nailed a personal best the first time out with them on, 23,8s. Let my buddy try them on his sc10 4x4 and within that pack he set his best time. Wear was pretty bad though to be perfectly honest. Raptors - initially felt alot more slippery than the switches, didn't feel as if there was as much traction. But still very good. In between trying these and the switches i made some rather large setup changes, and felt alot more satisfied with the truck - that and the raptors have helped me set an even lower best, 22,7. I tried slapping on some uneven stock scte eclipse tires, and the best i could get with those was 23,6. The Raptors hold up a good deal longer than the switches. Rattlers - Feels like somewhere in between switches and raptors. Have landed a number of 22 times with these babies also, but not quite as low as with the Raptors. I counted packs until 3 out of 4 tires were blanks - got through 7 packs at 10 minutes per pack. Extremely satisfied with these aswell. As far as i know there is none that has done a 22 time (dunno what lap times they had at EOS, would be fun to know since it's the same layout). There is a Losi/horizon sponsored guy that runs his scte there, and he's close, but hasnt broken down below 23 yet ![]() Man am i glad i bought like.. 38 pairs mixed sc/buggy during the Bogo campaign ![]()

![]() Was finally able to get my SCT on the track yesterday. I just finished building it on Friday and I'm still waiting on a few parts to come in from Horizon. Running brand new Rattlers (clay) with the new orange closed cell inserts I was able to TQ in round one, set fast lap, set fastest 5 lap, and fasted 10 laps in Mod class. Needless to say the tires were great.....actually I was smiling from ear to ear about how well the tires worked. It was like cheating! ![]() Can't wait to get the other parts I need to make the setup even better.
