Great idea but where I race everyone that runs a scte use's ofna wheels so there truck is 15ft. wide. I suppose they need it

Im gonna get in contact with AKA tomorrow ( Jan 9th ) in regards to the release and availability. I should be receiving tires from them this week. I'll let you know which ones I get.

It looks like AKA made the Losi SCTE wheel the same as the AE SC10 4x4. I saw some premounted sets at Hobby People. Is there any ETA on when the wheels themselves are going to be be released?

AKA part number 23006 1/10th scale cyclone rims losi scte 4x4. Hobbyshops should have them for sure this week. Some shops may have them already.

There was a lot of material that had to be cut from a one of their SC10 wheels to make them clear on the SCTE. Im curious to see the inside of the wheel to see how different they are.

i really hope its not like the jconcepts rulux, they took so much out that the wheels cracked uber easy... 2 races and 3 out of 4 were cracked in multiple places

AKA Cyclone SC wheels are designed to fit the Losi TEN SCTE 4x4. All wheels are made from the same proprietary nylon blend as the the 1:8 AKA wheels. The wheel design is modeled after the full-size wheels used on the trucks to keep that scale look that makes the SC class so cool. Behind the scenes the wheel is all about being light weight and strong. Each spoke of the wheel is hollowed out to save weight, while there are outer ribs to help support the barrel of the wheel for more consistent handling. The wheel is designed to work with our standard buggy inserts which are included with each pair of AKA SC tires.
