Default Traxxas Mud Terrian on SC8 wheels

for a long time i was wonndering if you could do this and i know they were the same size so i tried it out and it work out pretty good, im not dissapointed at all. the only thing is there about a 1/8'' smaller but u cant really tell. i mounted the on the same way as the guy( i cant remember his user name) that mounted the switch tires on the sc8 wheel, the only thing i did differently is i used the foam insert it came with so i did some trimming on the inside. well i hope u like it

is it just me, or does it look way more scale with those wheels just because they are slightly smaller? anyways, kudos, nice work! looks really scale now~

Is there a trick to getting ROAR SCT tires to fit SC8 wheels, or do they "just fit(tm)"? I ask because I have an SCRT10, which has BASTARD wheels and tries that fit nothing. I have 17mm adapters from my slash and I am using 1/8th scale wheels at the moment. If I can use SC8 wheels and some ROAR SCT tires, I'd be set. I'm ready to order a Jconcepts body, so I'll have more than enough room to fit real tires under my lid.

I may have answered my question. Here's an SC8 wheel that uses ROAR SCT tires:

That looks like it's EXACTLY what I want.

You will definately like that set-up I've been running it on my 8e since the Slash 4X4 came out way back when. Still running on the same set of tires. The Switch tires from the round before were trashed in a very short time frame.

I did the same!
These tires hookup almost too good! My SC8e in loam and on pavement tend to traction roll a lot more with the Traxxas BFGs.
