Default Diff is clicking

My diff is now clicking so how do i do the mods to stop the clicking.

if it is your rear diff then u most likely stripped out there gears i have the ft kit and i keep stripping mine out i had to call associated and they sent me ticker washers for it they said they sent some out with the wrong ones

I have a pre-FT truck so i dont think it is the wrong washers.

The shims arent thick enough. You probably need to buy a diff rebuild and shim it with thicker shims so that the mesh of the gears is thicker. Typically somewhere between .3mm and .5mm is correct, the kits come with .2mm shims. You can either get some thicker shims or just double up your shims so they are .4mm thick.

ya the ones i got from associated where 5mm. when i got my rebuild kit it came with the same thin shims a called them and the sent me the 5mm for free

Search the subject, there's multiple threads about the shocks travel being too much without limiting it with the clips that come in the shock bag. Cva and the rear a arm hits the outdrive.
Old truck came with .2mm thick sun gear shims, new comes with .5, .5's too thick.
.3's perfect gear mesh.
