So, I just ordered the ft upgrade kit for my truck and I am planning to replace all my batteries. Question is should I spend my money on the saddle packs or stay with stick packs? Is there a big gain in going with the saddles? Last edited by R/CBandit; 05-22-2012 at 04:41 PM.

I know what it is "supposed" to do but I want some actual real life benefits of the change. I know some have said its not needed but I would like a little more than hear say.

Then best thing to do is do it your self so YOU see the difference.

If I didn't already have 5 stick packs and I was buying batteries, I would get a saddle setup. It balances the truck out better than the stick packs do. I'm sure it's not a massive difference, but there is a difference so if you are buying lipos and the FT kit comes with the saddle configuration... why not run saddle.

The last time I was out was 2 or 3 Weeks ago Friday and Saturday. But driving is a time warp and I'm sure you have flipped me over more times than I wanted to be flipped over one day or another ![]() To the other post about the center diff, IMO that should be the first upgrade that goes on a sc10 4x.
