OK, let's start here...first, there's no sane reason for me to have bought this piece. It's $109 and I had no illusions that I'd get $109 of performance out of this chassis. I wanted it because it's damn sexy. I work for GE Aviation as a welder and I see machine work that is world class. I weld titanium baffle systems that remove the heat signature from the Blackhawk helicopters exhaust...some very trig stuff. I took one look at this and was just enamored. Then I got the piece. Ordered it on a tuesday night around 11pm and received it here in Maine on Friday. I can't imagine Mike and the guys are making much money on these...not only is it spot on, but the workmanship and finish is outstanding. I installed it and was pretty stoked to have the extra weight down low. Everything went together beautifully and there is now NO gap between the pieces like on the stock setup. Since everything fit so well and is so rigid, I didn't re-install the chassis brace I had (I'd fabbed it up just to add a bit more structure for durability) When I'd originally built my truck I ran a VXL ESC motor combo and when I went to the CC Sidewinder SCT/1410 I dropped about 5.5oz from the setup. The new chassis weighs about 5oz more than the stocker so I removed the lead weights I had at the rear of the battery slot. On the track the truck is now planted. It's not a difference that will change the world...if your truck setup sucks, this won't help you. My truck was dialed and this further refined it and really locked the truck in. Think of a hand held video camera panning left to right. Now think of the same shot, with a steady-cam setup. That is the difference. Direction changes are just much more locked in and when the SCTE's try and slam the door on my pass, I'm not shunted way off line now. Truck stays put. So...recap...worth the $ for bling factor alone, but really locks the truck in and balances her out. Worth it from every angle IMHO. I'd love the Hard ano shocks etc, but I wouldn't have had such an obvious jump in performance with many other mods. ![]() Pre-beating... ![]() After wiping the dirt off at the end of the night. Considering the abuse, I was shocked it wasn't scored and gouged far worse. ![]() ![]() ![]() Tried running the rig without the fan on the ESC. Temps a bit too high for my liking. Back on with the fan :) ![]() Cheers, RJ

Damn, that is sexy...how much weight had you been adding/subtracting to dial your truck in? So with this chassis, no added weight is necessary?

Good review, thanks for sharing. It's a sweet looking chassis for sure. We have sold a ton of them.
