what have people with this motor been using for gearing. 15 tooth pinion ive herd works well? thanks

Depends on the size of the track and your heat management. I'm running the 4.5 and recently switched from a 15 to a 17-tooth on a large (250'x150') track. With the 15t my temps were hovering around ~100, with the 17 I'm at ~135. **Edit: DOH, this is on the Hyper not the Jammin... hate when I forget which thread I'm in :)

And the same track Amoeba runs, I use a 14t.

I use stock 13 and 12, very quick with the 4.5. I havent tried my 14.

I havnt run mine on a track yet but the stock 13 is fast, i would say 40+ easy! Ill have to slap a gps on it.
