I finished a hell of alot of custom work, fitted a roll cage and alluminum skid plates. I killed one of the batteries in the summer and bent the front skidplate and cage on a curb so its been sitting a little too long :S

New to this forum but yes I have both the Aftershock 3.5 and the Caldera sc10e. The sc10e is great for bashing but the aftershock I find is a little more delicate. I have been in contact with Redcat about the fact that after just 7 tanks the clutch shoes and spring were shot as well I had the throttle servo completely glitch on me and I almost lost the whole truck to a curb. After contacting them they sent me replacement parts no problem. I will however be upgrading the servos on this truck as well as the tx/rx combo which was set up wrong from the factory. If your looking for cheap fun these trucks are pretty awesome for that but my ae sc10 is the business side of things! Cheers folks

I have went through a few clutches on my aftershock also. The .21 is not under powered however it was my first new truck and I screwed up the breakin and decided to up grade the motor while replacing it. That might have been a mistake, although the truck has overwelming power now I have made my rear differential into mush LOL. I will be ordering a new one soon. You are very right this is a great truck for bashing but my SC8 is a far superior truck and rightly so for the money difference.
