I think for the stock class you're allowed to run any brand of tire that comes stock on a short course truck..... AE, Traxxas, HPI, etc. Just nothing like Pro-line calibers or anything like that type of tire.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong

Stock SCT 17.5 as I have been reading is ANY tire that are made for SCT, not 8th buggy tires, or monster tires, things of that sort. No boosting or timing. 2s max, other than that, I think everything else is pretty much strait forward.

I do have one question though, are tire chemicals allowed? I know when I go kart racing we prep all day, so I would assume we are allowed to for RC as well?

I saw some of the Pros using traction compound last year. You will not need it in 4wd SC because that will be run on a loose dirt track. 2WD SC will be on the Clay track. This is from what has been posted so far.
