| Indoor offroad racing at Bumps and Jumps RC in Etters PA. Only a few minutes from Harrisburg PA. Been in business for over 7 years. Indoor dirt oval and offroad racing. Fully stocked hobbyshop on site and full state approved kitchen for plenty of food on race days, huge parking area, well lit pits and race area, with plenty of pit space. The pit area is well heated during those cold winter days and track is sectioned off from the colder track area. The track area itself is heated and also has heat right above driver stand if needed. Normally the hobbyshop has a tv and also an upstairs tv that normally has some sort of sports on for racers to watch. Track is the only one the area capable of running electric and nitro. Track has venting to turn the air out and remove the nitro fumes in few minutes or less. Track layouts change every 4 weeks for offroad and even the oval changes in size and layout every few weeks. The staff is well versed in all facets of oval and offroad racing with over 50 years of combined experiance. Patrons are always welcome to come watch racing and practice free of charge. Very nice atmosphere with many adults and kids racing. many father/sons combos racing and also a father /daughter team. Great for all ages. When watching grab some food and drink and enjoy the day. Shop is open: Mon 4pm to 8pm Tue, Wed, Thur 3pm til 9pm Fri 3pm til 8pm Sat and Sun 10am til racing is over. Offroad practice Tuesday and racing ever other Wed. Main offroad racing is Sunday. Oval practice Thur and Fri with racing every other Wed and main racing is Saturday. Track is home the Custom Works Dirt Oval Championships (the largest indoor race in the country last year with 515 entries. This year has over 450 pre registered. Tony Stewart might be appearing as he owns Custom Works RC car company and does race from time to time. Offroad big races have drawn over 120 entries. We run all 1/10 offroad classes and 1/8th electric and nitro. | Few more pics of Bumps. We have plenty of room for trailers and RVs so if your traveling and want to race we have room. At the Custom Works race we 45 trailers, RVs and campers so not a problem. If the wife wants to come we also have shopping areas close by and plenty of other things for the other half to do if she wants to ride along but not stay at the track. After racing steaks houses and places for liquid refreshments are within 5 minutes away.![]() ![]() |

| 1st points race today. We are expecting a pretty large amount of racers. The 17.5 SCT PRo class will have a large amount of racers as long as 2wd mod buggy. Spec SCT should have a nice group as well. ALso expected a nice amount of 4wd SCT trucks today. As always the kitchen will be open with all kinds of killer from from hots and burgers (the best I have had at any track with excellent rolls to go along with them). We have cheese fries, chilli cheese fries, cheese steak fries, gravy fries, cheese steaks, chicken cheese steaks, quesidillas, salisbury steak dinners, soda, coffee and alot of other things I'm forgetting. Never a lack of killer food at Bumps. |

This Tuesday will be nice as we will have a new layout from the weekend. Not sure how many more Wed night races will have since the offroad guys have not really been supporting the the every other Wed setup so far. | |

| Maybe some racers checking out Bumps for the first time wonder about the wood jumps. The new ones made for this year ave very forgiving and work great. One great thing is it allows us to change the layout every 4 weeks so as to not get bored on one layout. Most places that are all dirt never change the track that often so this way we have unlimited number of layouts we can do thru out the year. Ramps have plenty of traction as they have been painted with a non slip surface that has been excellent this year. No more carpet pealing off and tangling the cars wheels. Everyone really likes the improvements this year over last years ramps. Also made the layouts not so difficult that guys can't get around. The layouts have been technical but overwhelming as even beginners can get around. Last night a boy about 7 was running a Traxxas Stampede around with little problems. Was awesome to watch him and see him laughing all the time. He did fantastic. |

| Not that I know of. I know this weekend we had a big Sprint Car Nationals at the track but the offroad track was raced on Sunday and I know I told the owner I would be in to practice on Tuesday since I missed racing on Sunday. Let me call Chris and I will check out his schedule on the website. I will post back here later today. Brian |
