Looks like JConcepts is making a new Chevy body now. The picture here makes it look aggressive even though its just a teaser pic. But it makes me wonder one thing.. Is it seriously THAT hard to get Dodge to agree to licensing agreements so we can have at LEAST one choice of a Dodge body among the 10 or so various Ford and Chevy bodies that are out there? Ughh.. come on Dodge, make a deal with somebody already!! I'll step off of my soapbox for now. At least we do have options, I suppose, even if Dodge isn't one of them right now. But on to the article courtesy of Red RC – RC Car News . JConcepts Chevrolet SC teaser ![]() JConcepts have released a teaser image for their upcoming Chevrolet SC body release. This will be an officially licensed product from the US manufacturer and will sure to be super detailed with a JConcepts twist. Expect a 2012 release date, we will bring you more information as we get it. JConcepts Chevrolet SC teaser » Short Course

Honestly, I would take either! Especially since that second one driven by Ricky Johnson (I think) and the last time I checked, his name was sitting as number one in Pro4 with that truck. I could be seriously wrong though about that last part since I haven't payed too much attention to that lately. Also, Traxxas is sponsoring that truck so they were able to use the paint on their stock Slash body for promoting I think. But as far as I know, there are not any produced like that with the paint.. I probably wouldn't buy a Traxxas body though. Not big fans of their bodies.

Did a bit of research about that Ricky Johnson statement and I was correct! Ricky Johnson defeats Johnny Greaves to win 2011 TORC PRO 4x4 overall title in Texas! - Traxxas TORC - The Off Road Championship I was worried for a minute there when I watched a video saying he won the overall before I realized I was looking at the video of where he won the Pro2 overall in 2010! ![]() So yes, I wouldn't mind a body of his Ram truck just to celebrate the overall win.

Back on the real topic, anyone wonder if the finished Jconcepts body will look like a widened Tamiya chevy S10

I don't know. I am in the need of a new body and was going to either go with the JConcepts Raptor X-Flow doodad or a Hi-flow, but I might hold out to see how these look and go for it. I wonder if it will have Hi-flow inspired cutouts and stuff? That will be the only reason I would go for it.

Silhouette looks killer, I'll get one. Not big on the current Chevy offerings.

something tells me that the new body will probably be a reworked Manta, because the Manta vary closely resembles a chevy Colorado (which i would not be surprised if that were the product name) or a 2004-2006 body style except for the tail lights, which look like upside down colorado units
