Default Fuel filter?

Just curious if anyone here uses fuel filters. I had thoughts of using one just to ensure nothing gets to the engine. Here is what I was looking at for an sc8

Always run a fuel filter! You will be surprised at what you find when you clean of out, it only takes one particle to ruin or damage your engine.

filters equal 3 possible air leaks not worth it IMO.

I have seen more that cause problems then fix them.

their is argument on both sides, I feel that if you run a filter, you are at risk of more air leaks and tuning issues, and if you don't run one then you can get that dreaded piece of crap in the carb, but their again if you look into the tank, the manufacture has installed some sort of filter and chances are your going to get that piece of crap in the carb from working on the motor or changing the fuel lines, so my vote is get rid of the fuel filter, eliminate the headaches of tuning, if that doesn't work then go electric the smell of nitro fuel.............ahhhhh priceless
