Default Spare part selection

Hi all,

we are based in Munich/Germany and my son and I are very new in the "RC-business". We are proud owner of a XXX-SCT Rockstar (stock version) since Xmas 2011 and I am looking for a, let's say, "useful collection of spareparts" to be prepared, if we are on a racetrack and we loose a screw, smash a tire or something similar. I don't want to ask the other guy's on the track always to help us out with part.

But: after searching the web I was not very successful identfying a shop or a source in Germany where I am able to get answers from, what to choose. What I am looking for is not the "most advanced tech products" for a hell of a money, but good material to build up our own stock of parts. My problem ist now WHAT kind of material should be choosen.

From what I heared, I though about the following things to buy, which are not directly from but for the XXX-SCT.

- bearings for the front tires
- A collection of screws and nuts
- A package of E-clips
- Pitch Pinion Gear
- Pitch Spur Gear
- ...

I might be completely wrong with this approach, but if you have a better idea, let me know.

Do you know a shop in the Boston area, where a good friend of mine lives and who would be able to take the stuff with him in July 2012 to Munich.

A advise from your side would be great.

Thank you very much in advance!

Personally, I stock the following in my pit box:

LOSA3991 - Kevlar Spur Gear
LOSA6903 - Rear Hub Bearings
LOSA6954 - Front Wheel Bearings
LOSA4125 - Front Spindles, Carriers, and Hubs
LOSA4146 - Rear Pivot Plate
LOSB2051 - Rear Arm Set
LOSB2050 - Front Arm Set

I also run the following chassis brace on the truck for increased durability:

Driven-Productions Driven-Productions parts at the thetoyz.com - All your Driven-Productions Driven-Productions parts in one superstore!

And also switched the inner tie rod ball cups to these because the stockers were constantly popping off:

LOSA6015 - Super Duty Ball Cups (Natural)

Hope that helps!

Pic is in the link...will get one of it mounted on the vehicle in the next day or two. The link says it fits the SCB but will also fit the SCT.
