So you like it better than the ESE? I'm sure you don't have a final verdict yet, but a still curious. How do your lap times compare with the ESE?

I only have 4 batteries through it so far, but the best lap I did on Tuesday with my ESE was a 17.7 and my best lap today was a 17.6 with the Losi (out of the box w/my gear).

The ball diff will make this rig come alive I think, plus a few set-up tweaks...oh yeah.

83min left on the upload.....

Under a Blizzard Warning here in SE WI now, so good chance I'll get to the track for another battery tomorrow. It drives this awesome and I haven't even changed anything yet.

Cool. Hope you figure it out! I'm gonna try and start a new thread with vids and pics

Matt,

Did you try the stock tires at all? I was wondering how they are and if they would work good for the stock class at trackside.

The stock tires had very good grip, but I doubt they will be legal.

How does the durability seem compared to the Blitz Matt?

All the plastics seem to be like the Desert Truck, flexible, but not rubber. My DT has held up to some hairy suff and has kept going.

From what I've heard from testing, they can hold thier own.

The raptor body fits like a glove on your truck! You don't think the stock tires will be legal in the stock class? That sucks! Oh maybe I should order more rims and tires then. HPI stockers or Traxxas? AE stockers suck!

Yes the body does fit well, just have to trim the wheel wells a little and raise it one hole.

I don't make the rules, but those tires are a copy of an 1/8th pattern in a racing compound. I think the tires are awesome, but they are just too different from what is used in the Stock Class, but then someone that buys a XXX-SCT has to buy tires to run in the stock class....I'll find out the official word.

Juicing a battery and I'll try to get another vid of this truck up. In out of the box form (my electronics) it's doing some great laps.

I honestly think in tghe stock class thye should be able to run those tires. For one, must people are already buying the blitz tires for their SC10's and such, so they can just buy these tires instead. And most people in the stock class are just beginners or out there to have fun.
