What about droop adjustment? I see the new chassis has no triangle where the droop rest.

What's the thickness of chassis and towers?

We ended up eliminating the droop screw adjustment. We are recommending adjusting droop with limiters inside the shocks (like 2wd cars) ... There were a couple reasons for doing this.

1: With Limiters the droop setting will always be the same on each side.
2: Now you don't have a screw that actually digs into the chassis over time
3: Lightens up the chassis

And on a side note we've done testing and the droop screw actually puts alot of stress on the car when it rebounds back onto the chassis and it actually flexes/bends the arm.

Overall its just a better way to go.

Chassis Thickness: 3.5mm
Tower Thickness: 3.3 mm

I installed the Mugen seals and it stopped it so far.

Make some out drive bushings to get the play out of them.

Make a steering drag link to get the play out so we can get a good toe set.

Make a center diff mount like the Durango so we can change diff fluid fast, ;-)

I am having a problem with the plastic wearing on the right outboard side even with good bearing. Even a metal sleeve over the factory setup would likely help.

Hmmmm all my 17mm adapter lovers out there what is the reason to going to these? I do like them for the fact that 17mm is a better overall design than the 12mm but arn't you limited to rim manufactures? Are you going for more of the basher standpoint or for racing as well? What rims will you use to be roar legal in racing?

Just want to get a good scope on things.

Thanks guys

Right now DE and Associated both have 17mm wheels out which is a start also if there were more kits to make them 17mm over the 12mm I am sure more company's would make wheel but with out many kits the choices are the same at the moment

Awh gotcha, since 17mm is so much heavier I wounder if people would choose it for racing over the 12mm hexes. Granted they are more durable than the 12 mm in every way. For right now I can only see the Mugen guys running the converted 8 scale cars but their stuck with the design. Hmmmm

I run my truck outdoors on a 1/8th scale track so I would go with the 17mm for the extra strength they would offer.

Hey guys just an update on the MIP pro4mance package for the Losi SCTE. I ran it at the SDRC Top Gun Shootout this last weekend and TQ'd and won over Brian Kinwald . Truck was off the hook and was over a half second faster on fast lap than brians all weekend! Check out the race report at RC Insider -RC Car News, Reviews, and Event Coverage
