I have to say that Outerwears not only has great products but they have great customer service. Nick at Outerwears not only resolved my problem but made sure I was completely satisfied. Called me which is nice -- these days talking to a human is becoming obsolete. I am a believer : )

yeah guys, go to fabric store or craft store, but a yard of nylon of any material you want really and than stick velcro along certain points. initially they kept falling off so i used showglue and not its rock solid :) for a few under 10$ i can make a bunch of shrouds. i tried to go to fish store and buy filter nylon but was too soft. need fabric with a little stiffness. i even checked motor temps with and without and its the same. personally id prefer a plastic sealed cover but for price of the shroud i can not justify paying 40$ for practically nothing. maybe if they made it cheapter around 15$ id buy it.

my first prototype after cutting the nylon, the fabric started to tease off slowly so i folded it to make simple 1/2 inch crease along edge and show glued it down :)

I am in the process of making a specific overtray for them. Not a fan of a nylon cover. Mine are vacuum formed just like the bodies. Have the basic shape finished but waiting for my car to come in to finalize the design, darn backorder. Will be similar to the one that I made for my scrt10. Places to cut out and install mesh to let them breath. I can't believe they are asking $42, insane. ![]() ![]()

I like how their description says "water repellant" Shouldn't be driving them in water at all. Lol. I got tired of mud being flung onto my electronics and spending my time between races cleaning. Not anymore.
