The STRIKE rolls again.....

I just put in RTR servo/speedo and a Titan. Drove it in the alley and it's really quiet. I also added the rear aluminum pivot and some small pieces of foam (from Tamiya shocks) in the outdrives. Trans was coated with Tamiya Ceramic grease with my shims still installed. I just got it done.

It's going to the trails with my RTR BLITZ today....going to get some vid.

So I got it in the trails, was driving it around with SLASH tires, had to put on a set of Bowties I've had forever and things were going ok.

Quite slow with 18/88 and a Titan, but slightly amusing.

Landed kind of wierd off a jump and an outdrive fell out, didn't have the driver at the trails to get the tierod off and put it back in. So get it in at home and the diff action is sketchy to say it best. Maybe the hit dislodged a shim or something......back inside the trans in the STRIKE.....

The idler performed flawlessly and the truck was the quietest I've ever heard it though.......

No, I really want to make the gear diff work.

I checked it before and it isn't that bad, want to get this truck running so a friend of mine can use it.

Did you figure out the problem yet? Just wondering what you found.

My truck worked great for two weeks but last weeks racing my truck sucked and so did my driving on top of that. 13 seconds slower than the week before with pretty much identical track conditions.

No hurry on that. I will just wait to see your post on it once you get a chance to look at it. Good luck racing his weekend.

Hehehe I still have mine. Ran it twice in the the Spec class at an outdoor close to me. I finished 2nd the first time out with it and 1st the last time I had it out. I can't complain as it still is fun and I won't sell it. Actually I just cleaned it all up last week.

Sounds like a workout to make up from the lack of use. I'm sure you will it trhu its paces.

Matt. I am a little scared to ask how many RC SC trucks you have in your stable. In all your experiences with these trucks, what has been your favorite so far?

I could almost set-up 2 full heats with my SC trucks.

Hands down XXX-SCT, because I can beat it down in the trails I bash in and it can get around a race track with the best of them....second would be my SCTE, but I'll have one of those to go to the trails this year.

I'll still run my Strike from time to time.
