Does any one know if they are going to start selling this truck as an electric? After watching a few of the vids especally the one from(RC driver) I can't see why anyone would want the gas version other than listing to the sound of a line trimer.

Spent the day bashing one of these trucks and although I love the chassis ( I am an Eight Racer) I hated the sluggishness of the gas engine even when tuned for 94 Ethanol Free and 32:1 Klotz Benol. The electric conversions will kill even the baddest big boy engines all day, and not get you thrown out of the local parks from all of the racket the tuned pipes make. My opinion.....This is one bad truck! Mine will be electric though. Last edited by Valdez; 02-02-2013 at 07:24 AM.

Electric is great but 10 minute run times aren't worth the cost. Reed case 2 speeds a blast and run times are 35-38 minutes. If u want a brushless, I suggest purchasing the new Losi 5ive roller and get the brushless engine mount/conversion. Why wait for a brushless losi RTR 5ive when there just isn't a cheap 1:5 brushless setup available for Losi to put in it. 99% of the time, the RTR's are a waste, no sensored setups for racing even. I mean look at the facts here guys, decent RTR brushless trucks are just coming to market for 1:10 and 1:8. U know how much a brushless 5ive would be?! Be insanely taxed and for what......Cheap electronics. The Chinese hadn't even caught up to the 1:5 brushless systems yet. I think there's only 1-2 systems that'll accept 12s really. I think it be a long road if you all are waiting for an RTR 5ive and that's a big if. this is why Losi went another route and offered the 5ive roller, For the ones that insist on having huge power to do themselves. I would pick up on the hint before they discontinue the 5ives. I did hear them wanting to produce a buggy 5ive next though. Whether its going to be gas or electric. I doubt e but.....
