I bought one of these, it was cheap. got the ready-set version. it'll be my 1st nitro vehicle and if I hate the SC version of it I'll buy a foam bumper and road tires and make it into the rally version

my brother has one and we drove it at the track the other day. durability and availability of parts is definately an issue. issues for me: 1. is a self made parachute = lower body and cut some holes to vent 2. labeled as a 1/10 scale = my blitz is bigger than it 3. hard to find parts = stock up on parts when you can 4. no adjustable parts or spares from factor = comeon kyosho get with the program 5. need stiffer springs in the rear = squats like no other tips so far: 1. calibers mounted on split sixes fit if you drill the mounting hole a bit. 2. it is a nitro powered so easy up on the throttle when wanting to be a fighter pilot 3. tires are super soft becareful running on the road... trust me I tore up one 5 mins from unboxing... not putting it down it is a fun truck to run, but some kinks still need to be worked out...

I like it cause there's 4 different vehicles based on the same platfprm and a local kysho guy here called infernosonly.com plus my LHS has a pile of spares. I think I should be ok. http://kyoshoamerica.com/R246/index...._num=R246-3005 is the 1st hopup I'ma get. Also if I truly dislike nitro I'll get the electric mounts/guts from the DBX VE which again is essentially the same vehicle

I just wish more companies made nitro versions. That would be sweet! I just wish there was a purpose built 2wd nitro SCT. I personally wouldn't mind HPI converting an MT2 to a short course truck. That, for me, would be ideal because if I want 2wd, I will just remove the front driveshaft coming from the center tranny and call it good. And I could put it back in for some 4wd action!

try this to your drt. 1). replace your drt body with hpi defender 90 1/9 scale. 2). adjust 4 shocks to the highest 3). add 4 small aluminum plate on the top of the shock 4). finally your drt will be more realistic. see my pics here... ![]() Pics of my DRT do this same thing to 3 or 4 drts, make a one make race, make video, and share on youtube.

There will be more info on the DRT when I get time to play with it. I've recently become addicted to Nitro vehicles and have gotten a Losi Ten-T and a Savage as well. I'm also going to put my RC8 FT back to Nitro. Right now I'm looking into alternatives to the pull start as I really despise it.
