Default can some please tell me

My new to me Mini Trophy Truck was delivered today, and got a question does the battery go under the removable tray or on top cause I looked at pics online and looks it can go either way depending on the size of lipo, you are using correct ????. I'm going to use 5000 mah 2s lipo if I can, if not maybe 4200 mah. so look at my pics is this right. I mounted up two set of Maxium Beadlocks, they look better than the stock ones to me. Is the supposed to be a receiver box on top of the mount over tray ?????.

Ok now I know why these bead locks were so cheap, and why I took them off of my SCX10, they suck, less then 5 minutes, went from loose dirt to gravel too combination of the too and high sided under power and popped off both tires on the right side, I guess I'm shaving down the hubs to run some axial 8 hole 1.9'' cause I tried them first they rub,and got some other cheap bead locks similar to the axial bead locks they rub too.

Ok I got this time, I pulled the hub carriers off and filed them to clear the bead locks. And they look pretty good for being cheap rims and tires.

Tires and wheels look good. As far as the battery tray, it's meant to go under and the tray hold the battery down. I use 2S 4000mah batteries and sometimes, the tray would move and it made getting the tray out alittle difficult. I, like many others, removed the tray and put velcro on the battery and floor of the MTDT. alot easier to switch out batteries.
