Default Adjusting slipper clutch.

Im having trouble with my sons MTT. It sounds like the motor winds up then picks up speed. It has a tacon bl 2950 with a castle sidewinder esc.

Ive narrowed it down to the slipper clutch because when i hold the car down and spin the spur gear, the truck barely moves. Ive tries loosening and tightening the nut but either eay, it doesnt seem to get better traction. It seems like the slipper clutch needs more pressure.

Anyone else have a problem with this?

Disassemble the tranny, take the slipper pads and clear it, after you clear the metal pads. When the problem is not solved use a sandpaper to make. I had the same problem on HPI Savage flux xs, solved in this mode. Hovewer the clutch system on this truck is a plague. Other system to solve the clutch loose during a run is to put a threadlocker when the clutch is right setted well.
