The car is running with EZRun 9t brushless motor and 35 A Hobbywing ESC.
I had to put in the front universal drive shafts, because the dogbone was always popping out.

I love this car, thanks HPI!

Default SDI tires and Tangodown rims

I think this is very nice scale! It drives perfect and the tangodown rims (rc4wd) are normaly black, but I cleaned them with ovencleaner and they became nice metal! The tangodown are also airtight, so they keep pressure in the tire, and no dirt can get in the tire.....Perfect fit on my nice scaler. I ordered a new clear body, I ll paint in redbull collors, just like the sc8 redbull I love that theme!

How do i post my trucks picture? (I am not handy with the computer, sorry for that)

Here is mine. This is my favorite picture of mine because that race was just too damn funny and awesome. It was my last time racing in Missouri and it just so happened to be the Fall Championships there, so I decided to enter my Mini Trophy into the 1/10 4wd SCT as a joke with lights and all. At one point in the A Main it was holding 4th place battling both a Losi in front, and driving like a raped ape to get away from a Durango. It was a great race with anyone watching laughing and cheering the little rig on. I ended up in 5th as you can tell, losing to both the Durango and the Losi, but it made them work for it!

And my proof! The 4th place truck is the Durango that I battled, 3rd is the Losi, 2nd is the Associated, and 1st is another Durango.

Was the great result only caused by your talent as a driver or did the MTDT really handle really well in the field of competition 4WD SCs? I really like the MTDT, but is a handfull to drive.

I'm sure it is the first.

ok...., we are from buenos aires (Aregentina), one month ago I bought a min t from my son IVAN, of course I couldnīt resist Ivanīs toyota body.....so, we start with the mods......, we add double rear shocks, shock boots, rear and front ligths and t37 rims with 3mm off set.......

the most important, after 10 days of use, the firebolt motor said "good-bye" so
we instal a titan 12T, here are some pics

The showing for 4x4 SCT wasn't that great to be honest. I want to say there was maybe only between 7 to 9 of us.

The setup is very easy for me to write because I did very little to it. The mods were:
-Tekin RS ESC
-Tekin Redline 13.5T motor (slapped it in there after replacing the original truck it had been in, my HPI Blitz ESE, with the 10.5T. It had been raced for 2 years before this truck)
-Dynamite 4200mah 25C 2S LiPo (also a 2.5 year old battery, the very same that I started racing my Blitz RTR when I first joined this forum)
-Spektrum receiver
-custom wired LEDs for the front bumper

That is literally EVERYTHING I did to it. The shocks weren't tuned at all, it is what you get in the box. Same goes for everything, I ran the fake drivers and even down to the same gearing and servo included with the truck.

The only thing I can think of is that I am either really good (that night at least ), or the competition sucked (not the case! You should see them race in person!!). I have been told I have a hell of an ability to tune a Tekin RS for some monstrous power without burning up motors, so that more than likely helped out the MTDT the most.

It didn't like the track too much though. Lots of sharp corners and a triple section that was purposely chopped up and spaced unevenly for the challenge of the night. I learned in practice to swing the turns wide or slow down a lot and swing the tail around at the apex to do it fast. Otherwise the truck flipped.. a lot.. for a long time.. before bouncing off the wall and resetting itself.

The jump section was a bit trickier. Even though my 13.5T was making some serious power for what it is, it wasn't enough to clear the whole section like the rest of them were doing. I had to jump somewhat slower to land the middle table top and skip off of that to downside the last jump and had to quickly move left to avoid the rhythm section that covered the right side of the track going into the right hand sweeper. The other part of the trick was that I had to land my back tires exactly where the table top began or else it wouldn't make it to downside the last jump and would instead buck the back end into the air (causing a front flip) by smacking the back of the chassis off of the tip of the last jump. If I tried to go through the rhythm section, it would also buck the truck the same way.

In short, that little girl handled like dirty monkey butt! But at least the handling sucked in a predictable way. So I had to avoid a lot of things the others didn't have to do and I made a lot of mistakes in the first couple of qualifiers, but managed to make it through the A-Main only crashing once. By turning too sharp in a turn trying to keep the Durango behind me.

Trust me, it was. They were all surprised it did as well as it did in my hands that night. What you really should have seen was the crowd that was watching. I've never heard cheers like that DURING the ENTIRE race like that the whole time I have raced anywhere. It was awesome to hear them cheer my truck on to take on the big dogs and actually take a trophy. There were plenty of laughs to be shared after the race, believe me on that one.

Here is the race statistics of that night.

Just don't look at the 2wd Expert SCT stats. I did horrible all day in that class with my HPI Blitz ESE with the exception of the B-Main where the Top 2 are bumped into the A-Main.

Race Results - RC Race Barn Fall Champs 10/15/2011 - Weekly Results From RC Race Barn - Midwest R/C .NET

And also the recap written by one of the higher up guys at the track.

Oh, and my name is Chase Lyman. That might be something that could be useful to know when looking at that info.
