rock concepts,
i have a few gripes on this wonderful rig. dogbones, im tired of dragging a magnet along to find the one that popped out, now one has gotten away. customer service, i was talking to scott, send photos, emailed, and bam! said he'd like to help and its been 2 weeks and that was his last email. it was about a diff, the rear, bevel internal gears, teeth chipped, flakey metal in the diff, and it was dry. now i dont mind this too much but for anyone else it could be the tipping point to where they move to a competator (sorry for the spelling, its crap and im on the ladies netbook not my iphone (spellcheck)) ive locked it and swapped it to the front and it handles 10x better. the servo saver, its play is like my daughters room, a mess.

over all its a wonderful clash of scale and rc, super fun shmobbin around the park and getting some air at the skatepark. i just wish it would be more like the blitz i had, or the firestorm 10t, out of the box, beat the crap out of it, and always ready for another pack.

thanks for reading this,
jason

I think this truck needs some steering upgrades and that's it. It's a great truck but the servo saver has WAY too much slop. The diff works its way down and lets the input shaft rub on the steering linkage. It rubs litteraly through the steering components and breaks it. I'm tired of buying a $10 parts tree for the same little part that always gets worn from the diff input.

We have 5 or 6 guys running this truck at my local track. Race ready or not, we can turn more laps with this lil truck than the 1/10 scale SC trucks can. and we are all running the truck box stock! This truck is AWESOME!!!

Also needs more shims, I've got 3mm of play on the pinion gear shaft. Slides in and out with the top bearing into the diff. I've actually got a wheel washer on both sides now in hopes the bearing hasn't wiggled an oval shape hole in the housing.

And some hop ups..... Alloy upwrites, stronger servo saver, tire selection (compound is a plus), idk a light/detail kit. Something besides sales everywhere to show you haven't given up on this truck!

The trailing arms have a dual shock option. The rear holes are there already.

Wheels - there are quite a few wheel options in 1.9 from HPI. I got a set of "stock car wheels" for mine, haven't put them on yet though. I've been told the stock tire replacements are of a softer compound than what the truck comes with.

Can't help with the steel roll cage. I can't figure out a reason one would want that, but that's just me. I'm sure you've got your reasons.

when i said trailing arm with dual shock option, i meant an upgrade, not stock.
i already have 4 shocks at the rear but im still finding this truck to lack "suspension" which i think is due to shock length/travel?

Hey guys, Iv been hearing alot on how u guys want proper bodies and stuff on the trucks. Well if you take a look at my forum you will notice I got a slash 2wd body or a monster truck body and it pretty much slipped on right away. just needed to cut out the rear a little to get the shock tower through the rear windsheild and all. The body looks FREAKING amazing its a ford RAPTOR svt and it just fits on and makes it look really scale. Its a tad bit longer like and inch or so. and the wheel wells if u took some time would look perfect but other then that i will be running this thing in races at my local hobby shop. Theyre calling it the MOTORSTORM because its going to have every vehicle u can think of that does jumps... ill try and get some video of it. Will be awsome to see this vehicle get really up there and get its own class of racing and every other company start making them.

Solid rear axle and upper four link mounts, and the chassis grooved for drive shaft clearance, and a mount to raise the tranny for better drive line angle.and maybe a accessory kit with the axle, four links, tranny mount, drive line. and instructions maybe.
