Default HPI Coyote DB

Looks like a desert buggy version of the mini trophy. HPI sure is revealing a ton of stuff today. Love it.

I just wish they would make stuff is a race size. The Mini Trophy is small and the new 4wd they are doing is 1/8 scale. The buggy looks pretty badass tho. I wonder if i could get away with racing it with the 4wd buggies? LOL

I agree with you on size. If they would make a 1/10th scale 4x4 platform for a sc truck and buggy, they would sell like crazy. It's what everyone is screaming for. I was really hoping the apache's were going to be 1/10th scale when i first seen the sneak peak pics.. but i was disappointed. Its an awesome platform, but 1/8th scale is too expensive for me.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that a 1/10th scale 4x4 platform is in the works. Hopefully it will be revealed soon.

Heh.. All the extra little holes in the Mini-Tropy's cage already gave away that there would be a DB body-set coming. I only wonder why it took so long.

I know I am going to order the body-set, no doubt there. The Trophy is a great basher-platform. Even with a 5.5t I could not break it (and that's telling, 'b cause I have a certain talent in finding solid objects to use as brakes AFA RC's go )

Wrenching on it is not really fun though.

Oh, and size? It's bigger then the Tami "desert trucks" on the TA-01 chassis, yet the width is the same. Not so small, considering what we think of as 1/10 SC is closer to 1/9 or 1/8 even.

I'll have to admit that I am really stoked at this whole "Scale-Vibe" that's going on. Now for some classic Mint or Baja-1000 buggies, and I am a happy man.....
