Default Alot of play in the steering

I have a normal old HPI BLITZ ( great fun and I love it ) and it has kindof alot of slop HELP!

Take the front end off and tighten all the ball joints up and then tighten all of the servo rack up, that should help, all blitz have some play, I race mine and have upgraded to the strc steering rack but there is still some play

Erik Shauver’s Blitz Tech and Teardown Thread

this is a easy guide to removing the front end and tightening the screws, also try tightening the servo saver as this can cause slop in the steering too (it wont be noticeable when wobbling by hand but it wall make a huge difference when you race or bash it

Sometimes slop is good because on hard hits parts don't break as easy.

Slop won't stop anything breaking on a nasty landing, if anything they can cause a bad landing as the car can become unpredictable, that's the servo savers job
