There are going to be alot of these showing up at Trackside in the next few weeks I think.... ![]() Well today went well didn't change much on the truck. Refilled front shocks and put on gold AE springs . I did change the front pistons to the "middle" ones (it had the "softest" stock) because the front end didn't have much "pack". The rear has the "middle" pistons stock I'll go to the softest ones with a stiffer spring. I did put on the inline axles and shorten the wheelbase, but the intial "push" it had was because of the servo saver spring was loose. Already got it apart and loctited the nut down. ![]() Overall very impressed with the truck. No wear on driveline parts, shocks seem to be good, diff is a little wet on bottom by outdrive, but that doesn't worry me too much. Here's an updated pic with my gear in it.... | I'd pick one up when possible this truck rocks!!!! There are so many good features like the sealed diff, aluminum wheel hexes, captured hinge pins, and they give you full set of pistons, extra toe blocks(2 and 4 degree 3 stock), and both types of steering blocks. Oh yeah and the price around 199.99...... HOMERUN!!!! |

I'll try to pile up all the RTR electronics I have and post a picture....maybe I should do it in a fireplace!! I think I'm going to try to mount up that HardCorr body I have tonite. I like the stock HPI shell, but I like a brighter body. | |

| Matt, Have you tried the other bodies that you have on the Blitz? I would be interested to see which ones fit it. Thank you Dave |

| I'm sure with some creativity any SC body could be used. The SC10 body looks good on it. I'm going to the track now have to try it after tightening down the servo saver nut!!!! Last edited by Matt Sunderlage; 02-14-2010 at 11:00 PM. |

| I think I am buying one of these, put the Strike on the shelf until I decide to look at it again. I have just had it with this truck, I shouldn't have to rebuild a trans every other night. Looks like you approve of this one Matt, so I will try it out. In case anyone is wondering, Matt is like the "Official" tester at Trackside, if he says it's good, then it's good. Matt, compared to the Strike as far as handling, which do you prefer, does the Blitz handle significantly better? |
