hi my local track is abit slow on the uptake of sct racing as am i it seems lol in there infite wisdom ... they have decided to ONLY run a box stock class which is any rtr as it is out the box stock no mods you have to run the stock rtr tires from your brands truck with your choice of radio gear an lipo , im guessing this is to gauge local intrest in this class hopefully there is a ton an they reevaluate to the more common specs ive read about which would be better out of the box the blitz or the sc10 as a rtr not intrested in a traxxass at all also does the blitz need a seperate lipo cutoff still ? an can you turn off reverse on the stock esc ? (thread i read was old)

I would go with the blitz, its a blast to drive, it handles nicely, and it takes jumps very well. I never raced the AE but i hear a lot of good things about it.

I depends on the driver. Using myself as an example: I am a so-so driver and make mistakes routinely, so when i owned an SC10 I was fixing it alot, dropping out of races due to breakage and losing. But, it did drive very nice when I was nice to it. When I got my Blitz, it was much more forgiving of my so-so driving, broke less, so inherintly I finished more, and won more. Personal preference: Blitz Moral of the story: SC10's in the hands of a smooth driver are very capable.. Blitz's are more "flexible" and forgiving ergo better for crummy drivers like me... ![]() Our club ran with those same rules for a while, with one modification: We were allowed to use any "rtr" combos\chassis. Hence, I put a Traxxas XL-5 and 12t Titan in my Blitz and was dominating the "stock" class....
