Default Aftermarket Air Filter... doe it really give u more power?

I use 2 be into go-peds a lott back in days n use 2 fix up n everything n with a goped they had those little plastic box filter which restricted a lot, so putting a highflo filter on it made a difference.

The 5t doesnt have that plastic box filter so the filter already seems high flow... my question is "is it really high flow?" would i see or tell a difference with a high flow airfilter? is it worth my 30 bucks?

Thanks
Anto

Most of the rigs I've seen at the track run stock air filters with an outerwears cover on it which is what I run as well.

I think people stay with the stock filter because it works well and is cheap to replace. With the amount of dirt and dust that gets into the cab of these rigs they should be replaced often.

When I was running my gopeds it was mostly on the street so I almost never cleaned my K&N air filter.

Stay with the stocker and if you are going out to the sand get the TGN redneck filter with a good outerwear. I have this on all three of my Baja's and it works out well. Make sure you don't go with a K&N on the sand because it will suck a ton of sand.

I talked with Motor Savers a little while back and they told me that they are prototyping a filter to replace the stocker with better flow and equal or better filtering. When I get mine I'll post up any improvements
