In the next day or two I will be moving RCSC to some new servers which are much much more powerful to handle the additional loads from the continued growth of RCSC.

We will be adding an additional server to our premium hosted environment and splitting the workload between the existing bad ass server and the new one. This will eliminate the server busy messages some folks have been seeing. We will be able to lower the delay between searches and some other restrictions that take a lot of server resources.

We will be down for a couple hours to half a day while we transfer the site, and it may be as long as 24 hours (at worst case for some people) before DNS replicates completely, so some folks may experience extended outage.

This is a big move, indicative of our growth and will give us a VERY significant performance boost.

I will keep you all posted as things progress.

Nope. Unfortunately RCC had some database corruption and I'm having to restore from Tuesday's backup.

It might be another hour or two. Unfortunately I had to restore the database from a backup, the restore process is still running.

No I am not moving RCC to the new server right now.

thanks from me too, i did have an issue, its resolved now, but earlier, it kept saying i didnt have authorized access to any page besides home. like i said its obviously fixed now, but, thanks again!

just wondering could this be why I can't post on classefieds, I've only been posting in classifieds to cars I'm interested in and I also started a wanted thread so I don't see why a administrator would take
