Default Problem with dx3.0

Don't know if any one has run across this before. I've had troubles with the steering before when i first put the truck together and kind of drove around it but now i've got a whole bunch of new parts trying to fix the problem and have narrowed this down some more. The problem i'm getting is the truck is not fully centering coming out of corners. I had a hitec servo in before and it was doing this so i bought a new savox new bellcrank and was switching out ball cups to try and fix steering play. The steering play was not the issue at all. Now that ive got this savox in the truck the centering problem is way more noticeable. With the front suspension hanging i can turn the truck right slow or fast and let go of the steering the truck will center or go slightly past center (eyballing) Now i do the same to the left slow or fast it turns in all the way but i let go and it will not center. its way off and i have no idea why it would not completely center. I'm at a loss right now. I know i need to get a glitch buster because i turn the servo enough the reciever shuts off and the truck glitches horrible but while its not recentering it stays on so its not shutting off stoppng it from centering. I can steer slowly through what seems to be a dead spot and it will swing all the way through but once you turn left and let it snap back it does not center. I'm trying to be as desciptive as possible of my symptom so let me know if i left anything out. I'm stumped beyond all belief and its really not helping me on the track at all either. Thanks

Sorry its a dx3.0 with sr300 reciever. Speed control is a novak havoc and motor just the standard 17.5 nothing special throttle seems fine as well as braking this seems to be isolated to the steering. I know i need a glitch buster forgot to buy one last night after the race. Truck is an associated sc10 kit. I was playing with everything on the remote i've even reset everything to factory hoping it would reset something that may have been changed. No luck I did adj the steering tension screw on the bottom of the transmitter all the way loose and it seems to be centering better which is leading me to believe the centering issue may be in the transmitter its self?

May not help you but the foam on my steering wheel would slip back and rub keeping the wheel.frm going back to center. Also a few guys at my track have had problems with the springs that return the wheel back on those transmitters.

The spring might be my issue i glued the foam on the wheel couple nights ago cuz it was driving me nuts. Is the only way to get to the springs on the transmitter to take it all apart inside? I'de like to try a different radio that i know works to make sure this is my problem i just don't have one at my descretion.

Ok so i swung by the track today to grab a glitch buster so i could at least drive my truck and run a battery thru it to shake it down make sure everything was good. Still had the off center after left turns so a guy i race with had said he had a spare spektrum transmiter if i'de like to try his. So i got his transmiter to bind with my receiver in the truck. Took it out for some more laps oh WOW The truck has never driven this well. The servo now centers every time after right and left turns. Then i had to give him his transmiter back :( Well now i know for sure its the transmiter and i'm not all to happy about it but i'll move on and use this radio until i can get anouther and use this as a spare.

If you don't have more than 2 models to store in memory, the DX2.0 transmitter will have the same feel to it as your DX3.0 and they have been going really cheap over on Tech.

Just thought of something - I wonder if increasing the steering wheel spring tension would help it center consistently? According to the manual, the tension screw is under the wheel (between wheel and trigger, accessible through the underside) and turning the screw clockwise increases the tension.

I tried both ways seems like all the way loose made it better than before. I may pull it apart and see if i can't screw with something to fix it other wise i'll just leave it. The 2.0 was what i tested with and yea it was identicle so it was easy to just switch to that and drive it
