You should have hooked them up to your charger and put them in storage mode

Just been researching this and found that 3.85v per cell is what you want as a target. Also read that storing them at 35-45F in a fridge is good.

This site say store at 40% charge.

I'm going to with the 3.85v cell and dont know about the fridge idea thou can anyone chime in on that??

the molecular structure of a battery would stay stable at lower temps

i do keep my lipo's at 3.85v per cell, in an ammo can, at the bottom of my toolbox in the shop..

I fully charge mine and put them in the fridge. That way, they're ready to go when you want to drive.

Long term storage fully charged is one of the worst things you can do to a LiPo, next to overcharging. It will greatly shorten battery life.

I do it too because I never know when I get to run till it happens.

.....at room temp. That's why I put them in the fridge. However, I generally don't go longer than a week without using them.

Long term storage at any temp fully charged is hard on LiPo cells.
