Amazon sued over Kindle deletion of Orwell books Yes this 17 year old high school boy is pissed. Apparently he was enrolled in this honors class where they had to read this book over the summer and right a review on it. For those that don't know the Kindle is a portable electronic library. Download your books that you want to it and then read or put notes in at will. This boy took his notes in the book for his class. Amazon learned that the copy they had actually purchased had been pirated so they automatically deleted this said book from all the Kindle devices and gave everyone a refund. So young boy says- His notes on the book were "rendered useless because they no longer referenced the relevant parts of the book," according to the lawsuit. But lawyer has a good point-"Amazon.com had no more right to hack into people's Kindles than its customers have the right to hack into Amazon's bank account to recover a mistaken overpayment," Edelson said. "Technology companies increasingly feel that because they have the ability to access people's personal property, they have the right to do so. That is 100 percent contrary to the laws of this country." Aww if they win I think I will cry. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090731/...kindle_lawsuit Sweet seafood will still be served past 2048! Yes do to a study 2 years ago saying that fish would be wiped from the sea by 2048 due to overfishing! In just 2 years, only 3 areas of the world remain overfished, it was 10! Way to go fisherman! or not go...either way!!! http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090731/...saving_seafood

Researchers at the University of Rochester Medical Center found that a common blue food dye found in M&Ms and Gatorade could be the best treatment for spinal cord injuries. When scientists injected the dye into test mice with spinal cord injuries, they found the rodents were able to walk again, albeit with a limp. The only side effect to be found was that the treated mice temporarily turned blue. While much testing still must be done, this could turn out to be a huge leap forward for spinal cord therapy, as there is currently no standard treatment for patients with these types of injuries. Researchers are currently in the process of staging the first clinical trials on human patients.

Yes, it wasn't a malicious act just in fun. Been in a WC since, nothing works below the colarbone. I don't complain, I still act like I always did, maybe a little more sarcastic. Sometimes it's comical. Because your in a WC people think your brain damaged or retarded. Waitresses ask people your with if if you can order for yourself or eat people food. I tell them I usually don't eat people but if that's all they serve I'll take 1 and a bottled beer. When people walk near you they bump you and say sorry, I say Why did you fart? Or they yell in your ear when talking to you. I tell them I'm paralized not deaf you @ssh0le. I'll burn in hell for it, but I'm smiling for now.
