Looks very interesting. Can't wait to see what comes from this.. It looks unlike anything out at the moment, although it's still hard to tell from the drawing and prototype photo.

So he just confirmed that he was doing the drawing for Axial, and that they'll have some new "concept off road type vehicles" debuting at SEMA next week!

When Axial was holding the XR10 under wraps, there were lots of rumors going around on RCCrawler about a short course rig.

As with any rig, the key will be time to market and if they get all of the bugs worked out before it comes to market.
With the high level of competition the SC market has and how key the drivers are on performance, don't plan on this coming out any time soon.

Still, looks very cool.. Looks more like a SCB or maybe one of the full out desert rigs..
Dare I say, it also looks something like a independent suspension KOH buggy...

Hell yeah!

Axial released the Wraith and while very cool, it just doen't do much for me personally.

To slow and ill handling for a "racer" and not a great "crawler" either.

This looks like it's right up my alley! Super stoked!

Definitely looks like a platform from which a 4WD SC could be built.

This is a little off-topic, but that artwork totally reminds me of Joe Borer's work. Anyone remember CARtoons?

my guess is not short course but a class 1 type desert buggy type rig with ULTRA scale looks. kinda like a hpi desert truck/wraith/losi scb all mixed up into one.

it would be bad ass for axial to get into this market, the true scale sc rig?! ive seen a couple people put a sc lid on their ax10 with slash wheels and tires, looks decent but handles like crap (probably werent set up right)

idk if its just me but the drawing on that buggy looks to have 2.2/3.0 wheels? ifs and irs. imo it should be ifs with a solid rear end....... both 4wd rock racer/tt and sc scale rig! what ever it is, if its as bitchin as the wraith, im starting my own rc bank again (i can here it now from the wife......)

maybe this one will come out with over sized shafts........ like maxx shafts for the center and front sliders....... beefy

seems like something axial would do, it may start a new trend of buggies based off sc trucks based off st trucks. as if the 1/10 market wasn't complicated enough.

However, That could just be a fancey concept truck body, the production would have a more conservative truck setup.
